To help support Geojam’s content ecosystem, $JAM holders can sponsor operator nodes by staking 200,000-10,000,000 $JAM Tokens to provide content validation nodes to the platform. These nodes receive content created and posted to the Geojam platform to validate information such as the type of content and even if the content is inappropriate and may need to be removed.

Staking Requirements:

• KYC at Jam Portal
• Minimum: 200,000 $JAM
• Maximum: 10,000,000 $JAM

Those who stake more $JAM tokens will validate more transactions.

Day 0: Staking Contract Opens. Anything staked is locked in for a minimum of 270 days.
Day 270: Rewards become claimable

Why Sponsor Nodes?

Geojam’s content operators will be responsible for validating the content, its reports, engagement, and discoverability and will be the backbone of the Geojam Social Platform. The content and data will not be stored or moderated by Geojam but instead controlled and maintained by decentralized networks. The nodes will store reporting and engagement metadata to build machine learning based on the users in the ecosystem to validate content.

Geojam’s proprietary machine learning algorithms analyze social trends and user data to generate prompts for content, topics, and trends that are most likely to resonate with users and their communities. Content Operators will also gain access to our data discovery node during the staking period where they will have the opportunity to earn $JAM for training Geojam’s AI model.

Content operators will run two validations per week to provide accurate moderation and issuance to the ecosystem. These decentralized networks are vital in protecting the platform users and ensuring misleading or hateful content is removed from the platform with decentralized validation. These third-party nodes will validate transactions, proposals, and contests to provide security to the network.
